He has published 100+ technical articles across diverse venues such as PNAS, Nature Communications, ICML, and KDD, and received a best paper award at IEEE BigData 2022. He has contributed to national collaborative efforts including CDC FluSight, the COVID-19 Forecast Hub, and the Scenario Modeling Hubs, and his work has been funded by multiple grants from CDC, CSTE, NSF, NIH, and ARPA-H. In 2022 he received the University of Virginia's Collaborative Excellence in Public Service Award for modeling support provided to the Virginia Department of Health throughout its COVID-19 response. He has also managed several academia-industry partnerships with Google, Metaculus, Kinsa Health, and Signature Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
